ITINERARY DETAILS : 

 

Day 1: Arrive Katra

 

On arrival at the Jammu airport or Jammu railway station, drive to Katra and enjoy the evening at leisure. Stay overnight at the hotel.

 

 

Day 2: Katra 

 

After Breakfast, Start trekking to Holy shrine 13.5 KM for the Darshan for Mata Shri Vaishno Devi Jee, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi is believed to grant all the four boons {Dharm (Righteousness), Arth (Material Pursuits), Kaam (Contentment) and Moksh (Enlightenment)} to those who visit Her Holy Shrine. She is considered to fulfill anything and everything that a person wishes for in life, in a righteous way. It is an experience of all, that no one goes empty handed from Her Great Pilgrimage. After the Darshan return back in the evening. Overnight at Hotel in Katra.

 

 

Day 3: Katra - Srinagar

After breakfast check-out hotel and proceed to Srinagar. On arrival in Srinagar check -in hotel / houseboat. Srinagar is also known as "Paradise on Earth" and "The Venice of Asia". Dinner and overnight at hotel / houseboat.

 

 

Day 4: Srinagar Local Sightseeing

​

After breakfast leave for Sightseeing tour of Mughal Gardens visiting Cheshmashahi (The Royal Spring), Nishat (The Garden of Pleasure), Shalimar (The Abode of Love) and famous Shankracharya temple. Afternoon free Shikara ride on the lake. Dinner and overnight at hotel / houseboat.

 

 

Day 5: Srinagar - Sonamarg - Srinagar

 

After breakfast leave for full day excursion tour of Sonamarg (9000 fts a.s.l) the "The Golden Meadow". Sonamarg is the beginning of the enchanted journey into a natural wonderland. Surrounded by mountains upto 5300 meters high the valley is divided by a spur of the "Thajwas Range". Baltal (The Base Camp for Amarnath Pilgrimage) 15 Kms. North of Sonamarg. This little valley lies at the foot hill of Zojila. Return back to Srinagar for Dinner and overnight in hotel / houseboat.

 

 

Day 6: Srinagar - Gulmarg

 

After breakfast check-out from houseboat / hotel and proceed to Gulmarg (8700 fts a.s.l). On arrival in Gulmarg check-in hotel. Gulmarg is also known as "Meadow of Flowers" and is a famous Golf Course during summer (which is one of the highest 18-hole golf course in the world) and Ski Resort during winter. Afternoon free. Dinner and overnight at hotel.

 

 

Day 7: Gulmarg

 

After breakfast proceed to local sight seeing and rest of the day at leisure overnight stay.

 

 

Day 8: Gulmarg - Pahalgam

 

After breakfast check-out from hotel and proceed to Pahalgam (7200 fts a.s.l) "Village of Shepherds" enroute visiting the world famous Saffron growing fields, Awantipura ruins (9th Century) and Martand Temple (Sun temple). Pahalgam is also famous for Indian film Industry (Bollywood). On arrival in Pahalgam check-in hotel. Pahalgam is also famous for some trekking routes & also base camp for Amarnath Pilgrimage. Enjoy the Natural beauty and river lidder. Dinner and overnight at hotel.

 

 

Day 09: Pahalgam - Jammu
